My name is Stefano Irabor, and this is the beginning of something new.
For years, I’ve lived in the world of design layouts, colors, balance but there was always a spark in me to go beyond just how things looked and dive into how they worked.

This blog is the first page in my journey from being a graphic designer to becoming a frontend developer. And since I’m Nigerian, this story comes with its own flavor of hustle, growth, and ambition. ~OMO I TOO DEY ACTIVE🧠🇳🇬~

🎨 From Graphics to Grids

I’ve always loved creating. Whether it was designing posters, social media content or helping small businesses stand out, design gave me a sense of control and expression. But the more I worked, the more I realized I wanted to bring my designs to life. I wanted to turn static mockups into functional, interactive websites.

That’s when I discovered frontend development.

At first, it felt like entering a new world filled with strange tags (<div>, <span>, <style>) ~JESUS WATIN BE THIS~, CSS rules I couldn’t make sense of and JavaScript that seemed like magic, ~LETS NOT GO THERE SEF~ But one thing kept me going: curiosity.

🛠️ Starting from Scratch — With Intention

Let me be real, switching from design to code is not just about learning new tools. It’s about learning how to think differently.

As a designer, I focused on user emotions and visual hierarchy. As a developer, I will now learn to think in logic, structure, and performance. It’s going to be humbling… but I’m ready for the challenge.

Starting today, I’ll be diving into HTML & CSS, then moving on to Flexbox and JavaScript. I’ll learn by doing, building small projects, watching videos, breaking things, fixing them again, and documenting everything along the way.

You might be wondering, Why faceless?

The truth is, I want to focus on what I’m building rather than how I look. I’m sharing my journey as a Nigerian dev, hoping to connect with others who are learning too, especially those who feel like they have to figure it all out alone.

My channel will be called SI Tech. It’s where I’ll document my progress, share tutorials, and open up conversations about learning, growing, and creating in public.

I’m not here to act like I have all the answers. I’m just starting out. But I believe in consistency, community, and content. That’s why I’m starting this blog.
